Wilson Day is an annual day of community service for new and incoming University of Rochester students.  The students arrived in the park and helped us clean up and plant flowers along Silver Street.  We are grateful for the students assistance, thank them for all of their help and welcome them to Rochester. For pictures of the students, visit back soon.

  • West Side Charette: Community groups want to improve an historic Rochester neighborhood.

  • The Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood Association and Rochester Regional Community Design Center held an charette this summer.

Stakeholders, developers and others in the community talked about plans and shared with the design center what they would like to see happen in the area. They looked at examples of previous models, and discussed how to better use the neighborhood's assets.

  • Let's Dance Festival - If you missed the first ever "Let's Dance" Festival, you missed a lot of fun.  Dancers from all over the city came to the Susan B. Anthony Park to dance and be taught dance.  From 9 to 4 we danced and enjoyed learning new dances.  Dancing is a great form of exercise and after the dancing we were all received some well deserved ice-cream.
